Remember you will have to tell me a story in past tense (simple, continuous, use time expressions, words to sequence the story...) Here you are two useful exercises in which you can listen and practice and maybe get some ideas.
Hello, my name's Maria and I'm an English teacher at IES Infanta Elena in Jumilla (Murcia). I've begun this blog having noticed that most of my students often need some extra practice at home or funny stuff related to this area in order to improve their English competence and motivate themselves. This blog is intended to provide students and teachers with materials and resources related to the English area. ENJOY YOURSELF!!

"LEMON TREE". SING & PRACTICE!!!

Some of you have already seen this video, but this is for all my students to practice present continuous pronunciation (short form), remember the long form is not usually used when speaking. You can also learn some vocobulary and practice pronunciation. Don't be shy!!! Sing and enjoy yourself while your pronunciation improves.

LISTENING PRACTICE

I know that one of the most difficult skills for you is listening. When you face a listening test, you usually think that it is imposible to study at home.
It is not true, you can practice at home and make your brain get used to English sounds, if you do it frequently, you'll see how your listening improves.
CLIKC HERE and you will find a site where you can practice listening. You can also see the transcript while listening.
